A quick and interesting read. Diverse questions from how come professional hockey players are born the same time of year to how come Bill Gates was a computer whiz kid are asked and answered. Not to steal Gladwell’s thunder but it’s the old combination of nature versus nurture. You have to have some game, but you also have to be in the right gym at the right time, too!
It’s probably not tremendously relevant to most business persons, rather better for parents. You’ll see why some geniuses, like your little wonder, make it, yet other’s do not. You’ll see why some of your kids score the headlines and other’s ride the pines. In the end, life just isn’t that fair. But Gladwell’s a great storyteller and writer; it’ll spark some discussion as well as a few smiles and tears.
